Gift Booklet

For this project, I had to design a mockup of my gift booklet. I chose a talk from General Conference from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from October 2022. The speaker is Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. The title of the talk is, "Happy and Forever." For this design, I wanted something that was "happy" but also had some soft, calm, peachy colors. I kept my grid widths consistent as well as my typography. I used Stempel Garamond font in pt. 11. I used regular, bold, and italic. I also used Neue Haas Grotesk for my quotes in italic.

This is the cover of my gift booklet. I kept it clean with a white background and incorporated the peachy colors throughout the booklet.

And there you have it! My gift booklet! I had a lot of fun with this one. I learned so much about alignment, kerning, typography, column widths, color pallets, and so much more. It was definitely fun to play around with it and move certain elements around to see what worked and what didn't. Trying different fonts, colors, alignment, column widths, type styles and sizes, etc. I enjoyed this class and I'm excited to keep learning and growing!
